The Sapienza Archaeological Mission in Albania, as part of the Classical Archaeology Seminars of the Sapienza Università di Roma Doctoral School in Archaeology, is pleased to organise a meeting with François Quantin entitled “Research at Apollonia in Illyria by the Franco-Albanian Archaeological Mission”.
The seminar will be held on 25 February 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in Aula IV, Faculty of Letters and Philosophy (CU003, first floor).
François Quantin is professor of Religions de la Grèce ancienne: espaces, cultes, institutions at the École Pratique des Hautes Études - PSL and co-director of the Franco-Albanian mission at Apollonia (Institute of Archaeology of Tirana and the École Française d’Athènes - EFA).
The seminar will open with a welcome address by the doctoral school coordinator Maria Teresa D’Alessio and will be introduced by Julian Bogdani.
A discussion with the audience, moderated by Julian Bogdani and Enrico Giorgi, will follow.
