The director of LAD: Laboratorio di Archeologia Digitale at Sapienza will take part in the workshop “Text / Image interfaces in ancient cultures. Theoretical, methodological, and practical approaches to the combined analysis of textual and visual evidence” to be held at L’Orientale University of Naples, on 13 April 2022.
The workshop addresses the problem of defining relationships between texts and images, both from a theoretical and a practical standpoint. To this end, a group of researchers active in Italy and abroad in the fields of visual studies, multimodality and computer modelling of textual and archaeological sources will take part, with particular attention to their interaction.
The workshop can be followed online via the Zoom platform, at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83847249558.
