Fifteen years after the launch of the SITAR project, and on the occasion of its recent European Archaeological Heritage Prize, the Soprintendenza Speciale Roma is pleased to promote a study day. It will be an opportunity for synthesis and reflection on the potential of open-access policies for archaeological data, the interoperability of complex technological systems, and the accessibility and transparency of public administration.
During the day, P. Moscati and F. Nicolis will also present the volume edited by J. Bogdani, R. Montalbano and P. Rosati, “ArcheoFOSS XIV 2020: Open Software, Hardware, Processes, Data and Formats in Archaeological Research”, Oxford: Archaeopress 2021.
The meeting will be held on Thursday 10 March from 9:15 AM at the Museo Ninfeo, at the Enpam headquarters in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, no. 78.
The conference will take place in person until seats are full. No booking is required.
A live stream will in any case be available at: facebook.com/archeoSITARproject.
Guests attending in person are required to have a green pass.
