[AY 24-25] Internship activities in digital archaeological documentation for the Sapienza Archaeological Mission in Albania

As part of the activities of LAD: the Digital Archaeology Lab at Sapienza and of the Italian-Albanian Archaeological Mission at Çuka e Ajtoit (Southern Albania), training internships will be organised over the coming autumn-winter months of 2024-2025, concerning the digital archaeological documentation of the latest field research campaigns, reserved for Sapienza students. Some of the planned activities include:

• producing 3D digital models using the photogrammetric technique (Structure from Motion, software: Agisoft Metashape),
• vectorisation and preparation of graphic documentation (plans and elevations) of archaeological data in a GIS environment (software: QGIS)
• structuring online bibliographic databases (software: Zotero)

The activities will take place in the LAD’s premises, on the third floor of the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy building (CU003), and, in part, independently; they grant training credits (AAF).
